How Sva grew from a small plant into a big tree....

Swami Vivekanand academy was in N-3 cidco for 6 yrs!! It flourished with the blessings of Guruvarya Rao Sir,Karad Sir and Avad Sir.But there was no place for expansion...Then the trustees decided to shift the school to its own premises.










Our executive director, Shri Mangesh Karad took great efforts and we got the wonderful plot in Chikalthana!! We were so excited ! Our own premises after 6 yrs....It was a big day for us....Mangesh sir, or Bapu..as he is lovingly called played a big role in the development of the school.









He gave us a beautiful 3 storied building in record time ! We also got a small bus!! Students were very excited.....The strength of the school grew very fast.....and so did our functions and activities....We planned the whole year well in advance....studies and programmes were given equal importance....








Children are happy when there are plenty of extracuricular activities...and then they also do better in studies.....I had realised this in the very beginning itself !!

Though i was the Principal,my students were never afraid of me....and i was a close friend to my teachers also....working together was such fun !








We got excellent teachers....Poonam Miss....Manisha Miss....Parag sir.. Shilpa Miss..Chaya Miss..Javed Sir...Anthony sir.. Manju Miss,..Radhika miss....all were very popular with the students....









The students were very attached to their teachers ..we all were like a big family.....and this bonding will always be there...our students still remember us....and our blessings will take them far in life...and make them sucessful in which ever field they chose...

How time  flies by.....and we wonder...where did the years go....i remember the day we started Swami Vivekanand Academy with just 22 kids...it was March 1992..every thing was new and exciting then....thinking of a smart uniform....thinking of suitable prayers for assembly...taking interviews of parents...then teachers......selecting the books....making attractive charts...



We got very good parents ..who appreciated us...and hard working sincere teachers....and by word of mouth the school grew fast.... Our mission statement was ."A school with a difference" "A school specially created for your child"...



In those days every thing about our school was different. We had a lot many extra curricular activities and celebrations of all festivals...Janmashtami, Holi,Diwali all were celebrated with great enthusiasm.



All those wonderful experiences can never be forgotten!!....Those cute kids of nursery and junior kg.......some adorable nursery kids used to spend quite some time on my lap!! They must be smart young college students now!!



Our first annual day....our first 4th board exam....our first photo in the news paper...so many firsts....



Swami Vivekanand was always my idol...his words...



ARISE ,AWAKE , AND STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED.... was a message for all of us...teachers and students.....and we worked hard with a single goal….To make the school special….

Children are so adorable, always smiling and full of fun!! they see life in rainbow's colours, always bright!!
